Food Alliance's Farm and Ranch Certification Program distinguishes farmers and ranchers who:

  • Provide Safe and Fair Working Conditions
  • Ensure the Health and Humane Treatment of Animals
  • Do Not Use Hormone or Antibiotic Supplements
  • Do Not Raise Genetically Modified Crops or Livestock
  • (GMOs)
  • Reduce Pesticide Use and Toxicity

Handlers Certification Program

Food Alliance's Handler Certification Program distinguishes handlers (packers, manufacturers, processors, distributors and wholesalers) who:

  • Provide Safe and Fair Working Conditions
  • Reduce Resource Consumption through Conservation and Recycling
  • Reduce Use of Toxins and Hazardous Materials
  • Protect Product Integrity and Nutritional Value
  • Ensure Quality Control and Food Handling Safety
  • Meet Legal Responsibilities

Farm & Ranch Application
