Sustainable Food Industry Forum & Gala Dinner

This annual event occurred Thursday, March 12, 2009 at the University of Portland.

More than 250 people attended the Industry Forum, and 500 guests joined us for the Food Alliance Gala Dinner.

The Sustainable Food Industry Forum is an annual event for professionals in North America’s sustainable food industry. Hosted by Food Alliance, the Industry Forum is a key opportunity for business leaders to network and share their experiences in developing, supplying, sourcing, and marketing sustainable food products. The Food Alliance Gala Dinner occurs after the Industry Forum. Featuring many Food Alliance Certified ingredients and prepared by Bon Appetit Management Company, the Food Alliance Dinner may be the most sustainable meal you’ll eat all year. Proceeds from the Dinner directly support Food Alliance’s mission to create market incentives for sustainable agriculture and food handling. Our 2009 Keynote Speaker was Paul Roberts, author of The End of Food.
